| Description: | Make plans now to attend the 38th Annual AMATYC Conference in Jacksonville, FL, November 8-11, 2012. In addition to Thursday’s keynote address and Saturday’s breakfast presentation, the program includes two outstanding featured speakers, and four themed sessions: Evidence-based Developmental Math Redesigns, Research to Spice Up Your Classroom, Aspects of Placement and Assessment, and Authentic Applications: Legitimizing the Mathematics We Teach. This year the conference will also host a symposium on Modeling and Applications consisting of two sessions and a workshop.
